We hosted our first ever Lone Star Inaugural Poker Series last month from October 23rd through November 1st.
The 8 day tournament series drew players from all over the country to our poker room in Houston, TX. We were able to work with renowned poker star, Kim Stone, to develop the event for our members. Stone and Prime’s new tournament director, Justin Hammer, worked together to bring a Vegas style experience to the Texas poker scene. Prime Social members had a chance at over $300,000 in guarantees during this event. Over the course of the 8 days, players competed for a spot at the final table and a sterling silver championship belt buckle.
The tournament’s final tables were livestreamed to Prime Social’s social media pages, and regular updates were broadcast by PokerNews on their website. Six players competed at the final event table for a prize pool of $104,000.
This is the largest tournament Prime has brought to Houston poker, but we aren’t done yet. Our dedicated tournament team is working to create another major tournament series for our members. We’ve already broken the news of a tournament with $500,000 in guarantees. Watch out for more updates on our Facebook and PokerAtlas!
